Relay for Life

Morgan, Zoe and I went to the Relay for Life at the State Fairgrounds. We went with our neighbor Billy to honor his wife Kathleen. Morgan and Zoe are seen here looking at the luminaries with Kathleen's name on them.

Summer School

Zoe takes the long walk down the driveway to get on the bus. I was the nervous mother that went with her today. Tomorrow she will do it alone.

School went well. We met her teachers and speech therapist. Everyone seems very excited to get going with the children.

Favorite Past Time in the Summer

Morgan just can't get enough of the pool. This last weekend we spent both days enjoying the backyard.

Zoe has one more day of school and then off for a week. She starts summer school on June 11th. She will be going 5 days a week. She will ride the bus and classes are from 8:30 - 11:30 at Lee School. Zoe had an EEG this morning and we will find out results on June 18th.

Sunday Zoe was outside a lot. Monday she came home from school early. Her allergys were really bugging her. She is doing a lot better now.

The Game

We had some friends give us tickets to the Cardinals game last Friday. The Cardinal's lost but we had a great time. Thank You Wahabs!

Mother's Day Weekend

This weekend was special. I was hosting a baby shower for my friend Paige on Saturday and celebrating Mother's Day on Sunday. We had a great baby shower planned 3 weeks before little Parker was due. . . but he had something to say about that. He decided on the day of the shower it was time to come into this world and meet his mommy and daddy. Paige's water broke Saturday before the shower and she headed back to Quincy. Parker arrived at 2:20am weighing in at 7 lbs and 14 oz. We collected gifts and offered drinks and food and thanked everyone for coming. We can't wait to see everything he got at the shower. What a great Mother's Day for Paige and Travis Holt. Welcome Parker Clifton Holt to this world!
