The Thinking Chair

The Thinking Chair. Today at school Zoe got to spend some time in the thinking chair. She didn't want to go with the class and put on her brakes. When the teacher picked her up to put her with the rest of the class she wouldn't put her feet down to stand. She just kept them drawn up to her chest. She has quite the strong legs and will. Today the teacher decided it was time to nip that in the but. After 2-3 minutes in the chair she didn't give the teacher any more grief.

Grandma turns 60

Today my mom turned sixty. What a great time we had. We had some of her friends over and we had food and drinks. Some of the best times are trying to get the one good shot of Grandma and her 4 girls. This is almost impossible and always a challenge. But worth it when you get the good one. HAPPY Birthday Mom, Love,

Grandparents Day

Friday at St. Agnes was Grandparents Day. Grandma had a busy morning. She had to come down to our house that morning and get Zoe ready for school and then take her to school. She had to rush over to Morgan's school to spend the morning with her. They had donuts while they watched a program put on by some of the older students. They finished the morning with mass and then early dismissal. They ran back to pick up Zoe and spend the rest of the day with grandma.

I volunteered at school that day taking photographs of the students with their grandparents. It was a lot of fun to help the school with something that I can do.

Painting with Light

Painting with Light. . . Tonight the air is cool and we are outside enjoying the fire pit and roasting smores. Morgan loves doing this. I decided to show my family a trick from school with the camera. Morgan had a lot of fun with this one.

Zoe's Favorite Fruit

Today Billy our neighbor brought us corn, tomatoes, watermelon and cantaloupe. Zoe can't get enough of the watermelon. She loves her fruit. I cooked the tomatoes down and we will be having chili tomorrow for supper.

Banana Pancakes

Two days ago Morgan was looking through a childrens cookbook. She picked out Banana pancakes. She said I could get up early Friday morning and make them for her before school. I said we could make them together on Saturday. So this morning we made pancakes. They are very yummy. They taste like banana bread in the form of a pancake.
